Hold 500,000 NOCKAI in your wallet

In the wallet itself. Tokens staked or in a pool are held by that contract, so they do not count. The holding is checked when you get a key and again once a day.

Get your key

On nockai.dev/keys, connect the wallet and sign the sign-in message. No transaction, no gas. The key starts with nk- and is shown once. Signing in again gives a new key and turns off the old one.

Open nockai.dev/app, choose Holders, paste the key and ask.

In your own code

The API is OpenAI-compatible, so the official SDKs work with a different base URL.

Models: openai/gpt-oss-120b (cheapest, goes furthest), qwen/qwen3.7-flash, deepseek/deepseek-v4.1-flash and anthropic/claude-haiku-5.5. Streaming and tool calls are passed through.

In your editor

Any tool with an "OpenAI compatible" provider: set the base URL to https://nockai.dev/api/v1, paste the key and pick a model. For Continue in VS Code, add this under models: in ~/.continue/config.yaml:

Good to know

Limits, and what it is

30 questions per wallet per day, answers up to 4,096 tokens, and one shared daily budget for all holders, first come first served. Everything resets at 00:00 UTC. Agent tools send several requests per task, and each one counts. It is access to models for holders, not a payout. These are cloud models served through the Surplus API, not NockAI models: for answers that never leave your machine, use nock serve.
